Bundle up!
No, I don’t mean put on a sweater. I mean bundle up your items to sell! You see it all the time in the stores and fast food restaurants. Everyone loves a great deal, so offer your customers a great deal by bundles! It may help increase your sales at the same time…that’s a winning combination!
Here’s a few ideas to get you started…
- There’s always the buyers that are looking for a great value. You can attract them by including one free item or a slight discount if they purchase the bundle.
- You can help the gift buyer customer by providing coordinating items to make their shopping easier. Keeping it simple can give them that extra nudge to purchase right now.
- Package your bundle like a gift. Pretty packaging can tip the scales when they’re shopping around. You save them time…that’s always a good thing.
- Use the right words in your description, title, tags and other promotions. {Try gift set, collection, bundle or package deal.}
I like selling gift sets because it saves me so much time on shipping. Try it out and see what you think. With the holidays coming, you’ll want to be ready for all those shoppers.
Do you sell in bundles? Any tips you’d like to add?

I have some earring trios where you get three pair of earrings for the price of 2. I’ve been considering selling more sets — a ring and pair of earrings sold together at a discount.
I’m definitely one of those buyers that gets excited about a deal on multiples of something I love. 🙂

This is a great idea, and something that I’ve considered. One thing stops me, though… I’ve got over 150 bracelets listed, and I just don’t know how I would bundle them. By color? By price? By type of glass? Or just say “your choice of any four $15 bracelets for only $50”? The latter seems the most logical, but I don’t have my bracelets sectioned by price. Any suggestions?

Hm. Interesting. Something to chew on I suppose. I’m not sure how I’d really do that either {as a few other commenters have said as well}.

Interesting! I already have lower prices per piece for larger sets, but doing a bundle listing (something like, choose any X number of items) could work out nicely to, especially with the holidays coming up. 🙂

Bundling makes a lot of sense when you have lower-priced items. I created some cute gingerbread ornaments, but selling them individually didn’t make sense because shipping would seem fairly high in comparison ($2 shipping for a $4 item). Bundling them together in a group of 4 made shipping more reasonable.

Great example! 🙂

What a great idea. Right now I’m selling vintage collectibles, so I’ll have to think about this one. Everything I sell is so different, I’m not sure how I would bundle, but I love the idea. Thanks!
Fredda at The Magnificent Magnet says
This is a great idea! We ALWAYS offer our magnets at retail shows with a buy 3 for a bundle price and our wholesale stores offer the pick three as well, but Etsy didn’t have that option. Sometimes it takes someone saying something simple to turn the lightbulb on. Thanks for the tip…I am going to “package” our magnets as a bundle. So glad that I just found this Everything Etsy site with all of your valuable tips. Happy New Year!

I have been pretty much exclusively bundling the dish scrubbies I make in my shop, but I have been considering also offering some scrubbies a la carte so that customers can actually see the difference in price when they buy them together.

I haven’t done any bundling yet but it does sound like a great idea especially for skin care product I make and sell.
