Handmade soap is one of my all-time favorite gifts!
It’s the perfect birthday gift for the person that has everything. It can be altered to match personalities or any allergy problems. DIY soap is super easy to make, and it usually makes quite a few bars at once. You’ll know exactly what’s in your soap because you put it there. Oh, and it’s so much cheaper to make them!
Are you sold on making your own soap yet??? Obviously, I could go on and on!

I purchased some shae butter and I was rather undecided how I wanted to do it. As you don’t add any lye to it like you do regular soap. I am going to use a loofa (sp) and cut it and put it in the cupcake mold but I am going to use the cup cake liners. You melt the soap first then add the loofa bar. I am excited to try it, but really had a hard time as I wanted to make shea butter body cream.
