I get questions about where I find some of the unique craft supplies used in my handmade gift tutorials, so I thought I’d share some of my favorites in one post.
I love craft supplies, but sometimes it’s hard to find just what I’m looking for in the store. I’ve been buying some of my favorite craft supplies on Amazon for the past few years. It saves me so much time and trouble, and I seriously love having everything delivered right to my door for my next project. It makes me want to do a happy dance!
Here’s a collection of some of my favorites…
I big puffy heart these Wood Scoops! They are the perfect addition to a batch of homemade bath salt or laundry detergent. You can wipe them with coconut oil or whatever oil you have around to give them a darker color instantly.
They always seem to add that special touch to a gift!
Pink Himalayan Sea Salt Rocks! It’s so pretty and it’s good for you! Mix it up with Epsom salt for a pretty textured look. I also use the Finely Ground Himalayan Sea Salt in many of my tutorials. Try it!
These Glass Hot Sauce Bottles are one of my newest finds. The possibilities with these are amazing…create any kind our sauce {of course}, shampoo or lavender water. They’re an inexpensive way to share so many homemade creations!!!
Lots of Twine…I use it on everything! It never fails to dress things up a bit without going into clashing colors of ribbon. I love to add tags with it!
Small Glass Jars with Locking Lid turn something into an instant gift! You can put just about anything in these and it will look great! I use them for bath salt, and many people make up a whole bunch of bath salt for weddings or parties.
I think homemade candy would be super cute in them!
I use these Fluted Tart Tins for bath bombs and small candles. You can also cook tarts in them…ha! I love how the package comes with a variety of shapes!
Natural Soy Wax is hot! I’ve searched around for soy wax and this is my favorite. It melts so nice and it’s easy to measure out small amounts for just a few candles. Making homemade soy candles is so easy!
Mini Wood Spoons are cute, cute, cute! Trust me, you want some! I get so many questions about these! You can see them on this bath salt tutorial.
This Large Glass Jar with Blue Lid is perfect for large batches of laundry detergent or a dozen cookies! It’s big and beautiful!
Natural Candle Wicks – Large…these are the ones I use! They’re easy to trim to the perfect size. Sometimes I repurpose jars and I don’t want to buy multiple sizes of these. This one has worked for every project of mine so far!
Dried Lavender Buds make everyone happy! I’ve used these for years in my lavender sachets…the scent lasts and lasts.
Lip Balm Tins…these suckers were so hard to find! I use them for lip balm, but I’m sure you can make some perfume or tiny mints to fill them. The top is perfect for a custom label saying what’s inside!!!!
Organic Beeswax…these little pellets melt so fast! I can measure out some and save the rest. I use them in my homemade lip balm and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
Cotton Muslin Drawstring Bags…wrap up your handmade gifts with these pretty little bags! Stamp on them and create something all your own. I’m getting ready to decorate some for the holidays.
Alphabet Metal Stamp Set…you need this to make simply beautiful hand stamped jewelry! The letters are too big or too small…they’re just right! I’ve made tons and tons of sterling silver initial charms with stamps like these!
Mini Mason Jars…everything looks great in a mini mason jar!!! Anything from body scrub to apple butter will look amazing…add a little label to the top and kick it up a notch or two.
The blue links under each photo are Amazon links and I will make a small amount if you click through the links to purchase them. I hope it makes you life easier!
I’ve found that having just the right supply can make it so much better! You can find all of my handmade gift tutorials in our gallery…make something for yourself and share a little!
