Earlier this month I attended a fabulous I Heart Faces Photography Conference that inspired me to kick up my photography to a whole new level. I’ve found myself using tips and information I learned almost daily as I take blog photos, product photos and capturing our family memories.
I also met some amazing women that I would invite over any day of the week…those kind of cool people.
I brought along a few of my Handmade and Craft tote bags to share. The beautiful photos above were taken my sweet new friend Annette. {Visit Annette Warsaw Photography to see her work…and her amazing barn!}
We enjoyed a day of travel through beautiful Ohio in the fall, and we were able to visit a lovely Amish family’s farm. Ever eat a Haystack?? That’s what we had for lunch!
This is what it looks like when you take a whole group of photographers on a trip through Amish country…a bit crazy!
This is the whole gang that jumped on and off the bus every little while!
Oh my gosh! I guess you can tell we were having fun…Annette, Gina, Me and Amanda! We’re stylin’!
Becky from Life With Kaishon took this great shot right before a photo styling class with Amy Locurto. {Annette, Amy, Me}
I’ve been practicing some of Amy’s styling tips, and I’ll be posting some pretty photos in my next tutorial.
I learned so much from a couple of classes taught by Angie Arthur…basic photography stuff that I seriously needed to know!
Dana Suggs taught us about Finding the Light. She is an amazing photographer, mom…person. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that she shared Snickers with all of us.
Keli Hoskins taught Capturing the Everyday. Wow! She’s an awesome blogger with crazy photography skills. And Keli is a blast to hang around!
I was thrilled to meet up with some bloggers I’ve only know online for years!
It was a fabulous weekend that was jam-packed with learning, fun and friends! Thanks so much Angie and Amy for working so hard on this amazing Dream Big I Heart Faces Conference. It was so helpful for any level of photographer! Join me there next year!

It was so wonderful having you at the conference and finally meeting you in person! And a HUGE thank-you for the super cute bag. My daughter and I both love it (and are fighting over who will get to keep it. Hee!)
