Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!

I hope you all have a fabulous 4th of July planned with food and family!  We are in the beautiful Great American City…Chicago!  Our summer road trip brought us here in time to see the fireworks over the lake from Navy Pier last night.  What an amazing city!

Today we’re having a picnic with family and we’ll be off to circle Lake Michigan and head back south.  You can follow us on Instagram to see what we’re up to on the road and we’ll be back to normal blogging in about a week.

I’m glad we don’t have video to share of my boys scaring me with giant poppers {fireworks like things you throw down on the ground to make a loud POP!}, but the trip is not over yet and they have 2 more boxes…ha!
