Creative things displayed by creative people…love it!
Here are a few ideas to spark your creativity for your next craft show or event. There’s always something new to learn that will make your shoppers stop in their tracks and focus on your booth.
{LuLu Dee – Hello, Friend}
{Erin – Sunshine and Carousels}
{Twig & Thistle}
{Renegade Craft Show}
{Julie Ann Art}
{Sycamore Street Press}
Wow! I love them! Do you sign up for many craft shows? I’ve mainly done Farmer’s Markets in the past. I really prefer to sell online due to not having to get up super early and pack a truck full of everything…lol!
I know lots of handmade sellers build their business by shows. Have you had a good experience with them?

So glad you posted this! I did many craft shows last year but this year am only doing two, and they are big ones. I do better selling online and get a better return on my time. But these two shows I’m doing are fun, with lots of friends, so it’s worth it. I have discovered that you really have to pay attention to the type of customer a show brings in. I did 2 shows last year with an older crowd, and I barely sold anything (I sell children’s clothes and distressed frames). I struggle with my display though, so I’m always looking for fun ideas to display my big frames and buntings.

Doing my first show in oct as well. So nervous to set up. I find its hard to display crochet items in a way that people don’t look at it and think “is she just selling afghans and beanies”. I love the idea of using furniture and drawers

Perfectly timed post as I am doing a show this weekend. My displays won’t be this cute, but love the inspiration.

It really is less hard physical work to sell online only, but once or twice a year I love to do an arts and craft show. There’s always a festive atmosphere about the fairs and I’m always amazed at the ideas I get from customer’s feedback.

I just started doing craft shows last year after only selling online for ages. I really like the opportunity to get direct feedback on your items and not having to deal with shipping costs and the post office. I’ve also had a few super busy shows were I’ve made 10x the entry fee (and had a ton of fun in the crazy business!). Thanks for posting the fun display ideas! I’m always on the lookout for new inspiration!
