I agree with Barbra, would love to see your quilt!
Things I am/have worked on for giftmas:
*hair bows, I made many, was going to list them in my shop, but then decided that I would gift them out. My 2yr olds class is having a gift swapping next week, each child is to bring ONE gift for a child of the same sex. Well there is 11 girls, so one girl would be with out. I will gift two holiday hair bow clips.
Also, the center has boxes set outside of each classroom door for donations to “The Children’s Home Society” We dropped a Zhu-Zhu pet (purchased 4 pets at CVS for a total out of pocket of $10.53-score me!). Although I do not have business cards, I plan to attach a couple of holiday bow clips to a pc of card stock & write/print something like ‘special bow for a special girl, handmade by Casey Marie of Tummy Earth Fashions’ Adding my http://www.etsy.com/shop/TummyEarthFashions email in hopes to have visits, 🙂
Also working on a couple things for the adults/teachers…
*display board (wood w clothes pins attached to the front {covered in fabric/lace/buttons/etc} for displaying artwork/photos/notes/etc),
*gift-card holders (mint tin box adorned with fabric/buttons/lace/etc),
*Cinnamon stick candle holder (cinnamon sticks glued to the outside of a candle holder w a ribbon tied around it),
*adorned magnets (fabric/buttons/lace/etc, just something to make it more than a blah blah, lol)
😉
