I’m a simple project kind of person! I like to start on something and be completely finished in a few hours. This book is full of quick projects that are beautiful! You’ll find ideas for purses, coffee sleeves, aprons, and lots of tips on techniques to help you with each project.

This table runner would be fun for your summer parties. There’s a great section for your home and even ideas for upcycling your old clothes!

    I just found a book called Celebrating Cobblers and Pies…I don’t own it but I sure would love too! We’re in the middle of berry season here so I would get lots of good use out of that one!

    One of my favorite book at Chronicle is the Sublime Stitching Craft Pad. Too bad it’s out of stock. 🙁 I already embroider, but /really/ want to learn how to sew. This book would help!

    Wow… there are a lot of great craft books over there. My favorites would have to be: Big Green Book of Recycled Crafts, Rubbish Reuse Your Refuse and Green Crafts For Children. My son is into making new things from old things.

    Really, THAT book is my favorite on their site. They do have a lot of nifty ones (Mary Englebreit’s would be a must-flip-through, at LEAST), but I can basically fix a seam and reattach a button (and that’s about IT), so the Sew Simple is just about at my level, LOL.
