Happy New Year to all my crafty friends! I can’t wait to see all the creative ideas that y’all will come up with this year. I’m always finding something “I just have to try” by visiting your blogs.
I don’t have a particular New Year’s Resolution made, but I’m always looking for better ways to organize my ever-growing stash of supplies. So, I thought it might be helpful to focus on organizing our craft areas {or rooms} this month…ya know, get off to a good start and all. And maybe make room for the new supplies that I’m sure we’ll NEED!
I will not be telling you how to organize…no, that’s not me. I’ll just be focusing on different areas and giving tons of creative ideas to organize it in a pretty way. I work so much better when things are pretty around me. I’m one of those people that has to clean the house to be able to sit and think creatively, but I am not what you would call ORGANIZED…just ask my husband.
I’ve planned some fun posts with fresh ideas, reviews on organizational supplies perfect for crafty people, and even some giveaways that could help you get you started.
If you have any tips that have really worked for you, just let me know. I’ve found so many great ideas, but there’s always something new to be learned from others with the same CRAFT SUPPLY ADDICTION, or CSA! Ha!
Happy New Year…let’s make it awesome!

I can’t wait to see the future posts! I love seeing how different artists stay organized yet still manage to keep the area attractive and inspiring.

Yup, craft supply organization is on my list. The biggest things I need to do {and these aren’t really organization, but lowering the number of items to put away helps with organization} :
1. Donate uninspiring supplies to kids’ art programs, retirement centers, etc.
2. Only buy what I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE…instead of getting sucked into deals, trends, etc.

That sounds great, Kim. I am always struggling with sewing room organization. Chaos seems to work well for me but I dream of neatly organized shelves and bins ;-0

Happy New Year to you too! I think this is a fabulous idea. I do not even have a craft area! I need to get on that. Debating removing the dining room table at this point for more room 🙂
